Appendix B: Checklists¶

Pre-Publish Checklist¶

Before you click that green Publish button, run through this quick list:

[ ] Spelling & Grammar: Read through your text one last time.
[ ] Links: Click every link in Preview mode to make sure it works.
[ ] Images: Do all images have Alt Text? Are they high quality?
[ ] Mobile: Switch the preview to "Mobile" view. Does the layout still look good?
[ ] SEO: Have you filled in the "Metadata" description in the Settings tab?
[ ] Forms: If there is a form, send a test submission to make sure the email arrives.

When creating a brand new page:

[ ] Parent: Is it in the right place in the site tree?
[ ] URL: Is the URL segment clean? (e.g., /about-us instead of /new-page-2).
[ ] Navigation: Should this page be in the menu? (Check/Uncheck "Show in menus").
[ ] Content: Does it have at least one content block?
